In the past couple of decades, Bhavdeep as CEO of Fortis Healthcare, managed and expanded their footprint to become one of the top integrated healthcare platforms in India. As a part of this transformation of Fortis, the chain boasts of becoming one of the largest organ transplant programs in the world. Bhavdeep reorganized the framework and operational architecture of Fortis to make it one of the envied hospital chains and a preferred place of work for clinicians and a hospital of choice for customers. Bhavdeep retail achievements as a Member of the Executive Board at AHOLD, USA and its EVP Operations & CEO Fresh Formats, overseeing a $26 billion business with ~ 800 stores and 30 warehouses, are folklore in the retail industry. Prior to this, as CEO of Reliance Retail, Bhavdeep opened 700 new stores in less than 2 years, demonstrating his leadership skills to succeed across varying geographies and complex markets. In a couple of his earlier responsibilities, as EVP HR & Labour Relations at AHOLD, Bhavdeep and Head of A&P’s Atlantic Region, Bhavdeep had oversight of 110,000 employees across 500+ locations,and his people skills led to these organizationshaving great teams delivering exceptional results.
Bhavdeep’s eagerness to build world class transformational organizations, resulted in his establishing Whitehawk Associates, in the US in 2021. Established as an advisory platform with a focus on Retail, Healthcare, Logistics, and Leadership Development, Bhavdeep has been engaged in advising several multibillion-dollar enterprises. Bhavdeep also set up Redesign-HealthQuarters, where he was Board Chairman and CEO, and this fast-paced healthcare start-up in NY,brings together clinical and wellness under one roof, in a visionary model.
Bhavdeep attended Pace University and has completed several certified courses in Leadership and Executive Management from Harvard Business School, Cornell University & University of Hartford.
